Welcome to Pebble (the "App"), developed and operated by peanut ("we"). By using this App, you agree to the following terms.
Service Description
Pebble is a couple's shared app providing shared notes, lists, and link saving features, available only to paired partners. All user content is protected by end-to-end encryption.
Accounts
- You sign in via Google or Apple to use this service
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- Each account can only be paired with one partner at a time
- Multi-device login is supported
User Content
- You retain ownership of all content you upload
- Your notes, memos, and comments are end-to-end encrypted; we cannot access their content
- You may not upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content
- We may comply with legal requests, but due to end-to-end encryption, we can only provide ciphertext
End-to-End Encryption
- Encryption keys are generated and managed on your device; we do not hold any keys
- If you lose all devices and your partner cannot provide the keys, encrypted data will be unrecoverable
- Unpairing destroys encryption keys; re-pairing generates new keys
Subscriptions & Payments
- The App offers a free tier and a paid subscription (Premium)
- Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Refunds are handled according to each store's refund policies
Prohibited Conduct
When using this App, you must not:
- Upload illegal content or content that infringes on the rights of others
- Upload, share, or distribute any content involving child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual grooming of minors, or any form of child exploitation content. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy; violators will have their accounts immediately terminated and will be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities
- Attempt unauthorized access to other users' data
- Attempt to break, bypass, or interfere with end-to-end encryption mechanisms
- Disrupt or interfere with the normal operation of the service
Service Changes & Termination
- We reserve the right to modify or terminate the service at any time
- You can delete your account at any time to terminate use
- Upon termination, all data including encryption keys will be permanently deleted
Disclaimer
- This service is provided "as-is" without any express or implied warranties
- We are not liable for data loss or service interruptions
- Due to end-to-end encryption, if keys are lost, we cannot help recover your data
- Use of this service is at your own risk
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
